Aurélia is a casting director distinguished by her cultural and emotional sensitivity, a quality she developed through her upbringing and extensive experience. Born in Paris to a French TV director Aurélia developed a unique perspective on storytelling from an early age. Her career has taken her across Europe, including significant time living and working in London, where she immersed herself in the world of casting and film.

With over 10 years of experience Aurélia’s deep understanding of the essence of a story, combined with her ability to discern subtle character nuances, allows her to envision the perfect cast for any project. She is fluent in French, German, and Swiss German, speaks English and Italian, with conversational skills in Spanish—making her adept at working across diverse cultural and linguistic landscapes.

Aurélia’s commitment to fairness, honesty, and humanity, alongside her passion for the arts, drives her work. She provides invaluable support to directors and producers, particularly in addressing complex casting challenges related to potential and authenticity. Her knack for understanding detailed character traits and recognizing both established and emerging talents—positioning them at the opportune moment—sets her apart in the industry. Her extensive international experience and continuous dedication to learning in art, film, and acting have broadened and refined her creative vision. Aurélia’s precise casting suggestions and expertise not only enhance the narrative but also play a pivotal role in a film’s success. Her work is guided by a firm belief that there is an ideal cast for every role, making her an indispensable asset to any successful project.

Kaltrina and Aurélia met on the set of an international Netflix series in which Katrina was cast by CastingTalents in June 2024. A few months later, they decided to work together.

Kaltrina is a multidisciplinary artist. Driven by a deep desire for connection and discovery, she seeks out and selects people and places that reflect the vastness she carries within her. Her idea of “home” is fluid – for her it is wherever stories can be told and lives can be touched.

Her creative range encompasses singing, dancing, painting, illustration and design. Her artistic expressiveness is complemented by a solid foundation in business thinking: after her banking apprenticeship at UBS, where she designed a nationwide campaign for the bank, she worked as a financial advisor for a year. She then studied Design Management International for two years and then devoted herself entirely to art and entrepreneurship.

Formative trips to Southern California and Mexico, where she worked in various video projects, sharpened her sense of character and emotion. Her work in songwriting, poetry and visual art brings depth to her approach as a casting director. Kaltrina speaks five languages. She has a keen sensibility and eye for talent – especially those who can embody the emotional and visual nuances of a project.

She works both in front and behind the camera and views storytelling as an interdisciplinary, cross-media process—spanning the full creative architecture of a set or production. With a unique combination of intuition and strategic thinking, she brings a multi-faceted perspective to every project. For Kaltrina, every casting is an opportunity to explore and artistically reflect on the depth of the human experience.

Leoni joined the Castingtalents.tv team as an assistant in 2021. However, her journey with Aurélia began much earlier, in 2013, when she was cast in Paolo Sorrentino’s Youth working alongside the great Sir Michael Caine, Jane Fonda, and Harvey Keitel. 

She has since become the London base of our office, where she studied European Theatre Arts at the prestigious Rose Bruford College. As an active member of The London Meisner Company, and the comedy troupes The Really Useless Group and The Crumbling Creatives, she continuously hones her sensitivity and vision, and enriches our team’s creative approach.

 

Leoni’s adoration of European auteur cinema is deeply rooted in her Swiss upbringing, enriched by her German-French roots and formative Erasmus experience in Spain, which continue to inspire her work. Unwavering in her commitment to projects that resonate with her, Leoni embraces any role necessary to ensure their success. Her ongoing education and involvement in the industry as an actress, theatre professional, and filmmaker enables her to consistently bring fresh, imaginative perspectives to every production she supports.

 

Leoni is passionate about underdog and outsider stories, character-driven emotional dramas, gentle comedies, fantasy and historical fiction. She also has a particular soft spot for female-led projects.

Judith brings her passion for communication and talent for compelling storytelling to our team. As an experienced journalist, author, and communications expert, she loves discovering new perspectives, understanding people, and conveying their stories in a clear, engaging, and emotional way. She prefers creative solutions and change over routines and rigid structures, and she eagerly embraces new learning opportunities.

Her academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Design from the Zurich University of the Arts, followed by a Master’s degree in Cultural Journalism from the Berlin University of the Arts. With extensive experience in creation and production of documentary films, as well as in public relations for companies, foundations, and NGOs, Judith ensures that our projects and talents receive the attention they deserve.

In her role as a Casting Associate, Judith brings her enthusiasm for the diversity of human stories and characters to the casting process. From Berlin, she supports us in the search for new talents and distinctive faces that bring depth and authenticity to their roles.

Judith is particularly fascinated by films that blur the lines between documentary and fiction, as well as by international auteur films, especially those from countries beyond the Western gaze.
